Growth and Vision Ministry Team - Made up of the chairpersons of all the ministry groups. This group hears, approves, and directs the program planning by all the work areas, committees, and organizations of the church. Aligning the program ministries with our mission is the primary focus of the Program Council.
Council on Spiritual Initiative - The Council on Spiritual Initiatives (COSI) is responsible for initiating and coordinating various ministries related to spiritual formation. It is the objective of this council to continually provide opportunities for people to find deeper connections to God through prayer, study and enrichment events.
Senior Adult Advisory Council - Activities and Pastoral Care needs are evaluated and planned for when this council meets as necessary.

Executive Leadership
Charge Conference - The annual administrative session for the district and is presided over by the District Superintendent. Officers are elected at that time.
Administrative Board - The Administrative Board is responsible for understanding and making major decisions concerning all areas of the church.
Board of Trustees - The Board of Trustees has supervision, oversight, and care of all real property owned by the church.
McFarlin Foundation - Is a philanthropic group that oversees donations designated to it for the benefit of the church. If you desire to be a church benefactor through the McFarlin Foundation, contact Rev. Dick House.
Ministry Teams
Worship Ministry Team - The Commission on Worship helps our church offer settings for vital worship in which people experience the presence of God and grow in the knowledge of God.
Commission on Education - The Commission on Education is in charge of planning and implementing settings in which children, youth, and adults can seek to know God and discover ways to live as Christian disciples.
Evangelism Ministry Team - The Commission on Evangelism focuses on reaching out to people wherever they are, receiving them as they are, relating them to God and providing opportunities for nuturing in discipleship and serving.
Missions Ministry Team - The Commission on Missions identifies needs of the community, country, and the world in order to engage the congregation in mission opportunities that address those needs.
Church & Society Ministry Team - Church and Society leads the church in its involvement in social issues. Its work on social issues falls into four broad categories: social service, social education, social witness, and social action. This Commission prayerfully seeks out areas of need, then recruits and sends members into community missions.
Committees
Faith and Finance Committee - This committee is responsible for identifying, perfecting, and managing the finance system for McFarlin. This includes the processes of raising, managing, and dispersing the finances so that the mission and vision of the church can be achieved.
Family Ministries Committee - Family Ministries addresses the needs of families in the McFarlin congregation and in our community, finding ways for God's love to be shared within those families. Family Ministries plans activities that enhance and enrich family life.
Staff Parish Relations Committee - This committee has primary responsibility to work with staff so that the mission of the church is realized.
Nominations Committee - The Nominations Committee is responsible for identifying, training, and nuturing servant leaders within McFarlin.
Academy Committee - Helps plan fall and winter academies, contact teachers, help with meals, some setup duties during academy sessions and helps enroll students.
Advent Committee - Plans crafts for upcoming Advent Festival, prepare kits, help direct craft rooms during Advent Festival, sort and put away extra supplies and equipment after Advent Festival.
