Houston Summer Mission
July 22 – 28, 2018
Middle School & High School Students
Cost: $350 (all-inclusive)
We will be serving in the Bear Creek area of Houston…this is northwest of downtown Houston. We are working with a group called Hope Disaster Recovery in Cypress, TX. Our team will be involved in some sort of repair on homes that were damaged during Hurricane Harvey.
We will also have teams that will work in soup kitchens and food banks.

The cost of the mission to Houston is $350. This is an all-inclusive cost, that includes meals, transportation, housing, home repair costs, the day in Galveston (including the Pleasure Pier amusement park), etc.
This does not include money for snacks while on the road to and from Houston and throughtout the week and any sourvenirs people want.
Partial scholarships are available. We ask that people traveling with us attempt to pay some amount, if at all possible. The scholarship application can be found HERE
Sunday, July 22
After attending 10:55am worship together, we will eat lunch at McFarlin and head for Houston.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Our days will be spent at our ministry sites.
Evenings will be spent hanging out, eating dinner, have devotions and small group time, and some sightseeing.
We will spend the day in Galvaston, Texas on the beach and at the Pleasure Pier Amusement Park.
Head home to Norman, arriving before dinner.
