Go...Serve...Love
The people of McFarlin have been going, serving and loving since the inception of our great church; it is in our DNA, an integral part of who we are! Whether it is across our church to the food pantry, across the country to places like the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas or across the world to Tanzania, each and every day our efforts make a tangible difference in the lives of people. Lives are changed—both those who serve and those who are served.
In 2023 we will continue to ramp up our efforts to change the world. But we cannot do it without you!
Whether you go, give, encourage or pray, we need each person in the McFarlin family to join us as we continue Changing Lives That Change the World. How will you go, serve and love in 2023?
Save These Dates: 2023 Missions Projects
Habitat for Humanity Houses: Ongoing into 2023
- McFarlin will be a significant part of building two more houses, these located in Norman. There are lots of opportunities for those 18 and old to help.
Tanzania: June 26–July 2, 2023 (dates could shift slightly)
- We are blessed with a great partnership in Tanzania, and can’t wait to send a team to Morogoro, Tanzania to serve with Pastor Umba and Ngoy Kalangwa.
- Our goal is to find one or more medical professionals to travel with us. Any field will be useful and a blessing
- The team will also be involved in some sort of construction.
- You do not need to have medical or construction skills or experience to be useful for this team!
- In addition to the mission work, the team will get to tour much of the ministry of the Kalangwas, getting the opportunity to see the depth of the impact. The team will also have the chance to do some sightseeing, including a day spent in a national park on a safari-like tour.
- Final cost and exact dates will be set in January.
Student Ministries Mission to Denver, CO: July 8–15, 2023
- Our middle school and high schoolers will once again head out of Norman to serve those in need! Adults are always needed to serve as chaperones.
