At McFarlin, placing Scripture in the hands of our children is a time-honored tradition and a joyful milestone in their faith journey. On Sunday, Oct. 26, we’ll present Bibles to all third graders during each worship service. Families are invited to attend together as we celebrate, pray over, and bless our kids.

Bible Presentations: On Sunday, Oct. 26, we will gift all 3rd Graders in all three services their very own Bible. Please contact Zach James at zjames@mcfarlinumc.org to let him know you will be participating and indicate which service your child will attend on the 26th so we can be prepared to present their Bible.

Bible Expedition: During The Expedition, we will explore how we got the Bible, how to use it, and the incredible things God teaches us every time we read it. This class will take place on Wednesday evenings starting Oct. 29. A delicious pizza dinner will be provided each night during the Bible Expedition classes to energize and engage our young learners. We appreciate any donations to help offset the costs of food and supplies. Your generosity will make a difference. For those students who were unable to attend the services on Oct. 26, they will receive their Bible at the first Bible Expedition class.
