Missions

Mission programs are not an option in the church; they are the foundation for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ! Mission is a natural aspect of any Christian lifestyle and is at the core of our mission of Changing Lives that Change the World.

We believe in putting hands and feet to our faith with hundreds of people giving thousands of hours of service each year here at McFarlin, in the Norman community, and around the world. There is always more work to be done, more lives to be changed, and more people who need to tangibly experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ. We’d love the opportunity to help you put your faith to work through the missions of McFarlin!

If you want to know how you can engage in missions, either close to home or on the other side of the world, please contact Scott Meier, director of missions and community outreach, at smeier@mfarlinumc.org or 405-321-3484, ext. 109.

Help with Deliveries!
We often have items to be delivered to various organizations in Norman, including Food and Shelter, CCFI, partner schools, etc.  We are looking for a few folks to be “on call” to deliver items on an as-needed basis.  Contact Scott Meier if interested, smeier@mcfarlinumc.org or 405-321-3484, ext. 109

Furniture Ministry
There are many in our community who have need for furniture, and many in our community who have furniture to give.  Would you be wiling to help move furniture (collect and/or distribute) or keep our storage unit oganized? If you have furniture to donate, we are looking for gently used items that do not need to be repaired. We can take mattresses, in some cases, as long as they are clean and bug free! Contact Scott Meier if interested, smeier@mcfarlinumc.org or 405-321-3484, ext. 109
