Adult Discipleship
Our adult discipleship ministries are focused on faith building though community. Whether it is through a Sunday School class, a United Women in Faith Circle, United Methodist Men’s group, or one of the many weekly Bible study offerings, we are committed to growing in our relationship with God and each other.
Sunday morning can be more than worshiping through music and the word. McFarlin’s Adult Sunday School classes provide care, fellowship, and spiritual growth Sunday mornings from 9:40 – 10:40AM.
These community groups have formed by age group, study format, or area of emphasis, but each is integral to the life and ministry of McFarlin UMC. Our Sunday Schools help individuals and couples find their niche among our sacred space.

At McFarlin we believe we grow in God’s grace and in our faith through participation in the larger community of Sunday morning worship and in the connectional community of small groups.
Small groups provide fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and loving support. Small groups provide an environment to grow in your relationship with God and with others. Jesus invited a small group of twelve disciples to join him in changing the world, understanding that meaningful change takes place in personal small group relationships.

United Methodist Men is a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to see His will daily.
Our Goal is to serve the McFarlin Family and Norman community through various opportunities for spiritual growth. From assisting our neighbors with home repairs and yard work to supporting community partnerships like Habitat for Humanity, Cleveland County Aging Services, Norman Kitchens, Food Pantries, and other community agencies. We are proud to be able to provide care and upkeep of church facilities while also furthering awareness of United Methodist Men.
We meet monthly for breakfast in Fenn Hall.
