Stamp Out Hunger

Hunger is closer than we think. For many families right here in our community, putting food on the table is a daily challenge. That’s why, for the past 34 years, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma has partnered with the National Association of Letter Carriers and the U.S. Postal Service for Stamp Out Hunger

How It Works

On Saturday, May 9, letter carriers will collect nonperishable food donations as they deliver mail along their routes.

The week of May 4, all of Norman will receive a plastic donation bag in their mailboxes. Simply:

  • Fill the bag (or any bag) with nonperishable food
  • Leave it by your mailbox before your mail arrives on May 9

Every item you give stays right here in our community, helping neighbors who need it most.

Ways to Make a Difference

  1. Donate Food: Leave your bag of nonperishable food by your mailbox on May 9.
  2. Give Financially: Every $1 provides 3 meals to Oklahomans facing hunger.
  3. Volunteer Your Time: Help sort and distribute food as it comes in from across the metro.

Be Part of Something Bigger

This is one of the simplest ways to make a real difference. A bag of food. A few hours of your time. A small gift that turns into meals for families across Oklahoma. Let’s show up for our neighbors!
