Invitation to Psalms

Tuesdays at 12pm | Aug. 11-Oct. 6 | Room 406

A Discipleship Study on Prayer, Worship, and the Human Experience

There’s something about the Psalms that feels familiar, even if you’ve never studied them closely. They give words to what we often struggle to say: joy, doubt, gratitude, grief, faith, and everything in between.

Invitation to Psalms is an eight-week study designed to help you step into those words and discover how Scripture can shape your own prayer life in a real and meaningful way.

What to Expect

Each week, you’ll engage the Psalms in a way that goes beyond reading on a page. Through video teaching and guided conversation, you’ll experience:

  • Dramatic readings of individual psalms
  • Music, visual imagery, and creative expression
  • Insights from biblical scholars in a relaxed, roundtable format
  • Space to reflect on how Scripture connects to your everyday life
Getting Started

Participants will need:

  • A copy of the participant guide
  • A study Bible
New to This Kind of Study?

We’re hosting a short informational meeting to help you get started:

  • Date: Tuesday, August 4
  • Time: 12pm
  • Location: Room 406

We’ll talk about how to get a copy of the participant guide and what to expect from the class. This is a great chance to learn how the class works, what to expect each week, and how to prepare.
