Our school-aged programs are more than just childcare—they’re about creating meaningful and unforgettable experiences for your children as part of McFarlin United Methodist Church’s Children’s Ministry. With a faith-based approach to STREAM education (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), we blend fun and learning in a way that inspires curiosity, creativity, and growth. McFarlin Childcare Programs are licensed and monitored by the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS).

McFarlin Kid Zone Out-of-School Childcare
Don’t miss out on a chance to give your child an enriching, engaging afternoon full of creativity, learning, and fun! McFarlin Kid Zone’s Out-of-School time program is ready for an exciting 2025-26 school year ahead, featuring a faith-based approach to STREAM learning. Dive into a world of fun, friendship, and educational adventures—secure your child’s spot today!
Open daily from 2:50-5:30pm, following the Norman school calendar, plus full-day care on select NPS closure.
Registration open dates are as follows:
- Monday, February 3rd: To returning McFarlin Child Care & McFarlin church families.
- Monday, February 17th: To the public.
Are you looking for childcare for your Elementary Student during the upcoming NPS closures? McFarlin Kid Zone will be open on February 14th and 17th, 7:50am-5:30pm!
Kid Zone 2024-25 school year is now enrolling for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 3rd-5th grade! Our fun and enriching elementary-aged childcare program offers a safe and exciting environment for your child to thrive after school. Email Madisen Myers for immediate availability.
McFarlin & Friends Summer Camp
The 2025 program will run from June 2nd-August 6th, Monday-Friday, 7am-5:30pm.
- Session I – June 2nd – July 2nd
- Session II – July 7th – August 6th
- Closed July 3rd & 4th
McFarlin & Friends is preparing for an unforgettable summer in 2025! Get ready for pool days, arts and crafts, inflatables, exciting field trips, special guest visitors, and endless fun with friends. Our day program is open to children exiting Pre-Kindergarten through exiting 5th grade.
Registration Dates are as follows:
- Monday, February 3rd: To returning McFarlin Child Care & McFarlin church families.

McFarlin & Friends Summer Counselors (Full & Part-time positions available)
McFarlin & Friends Employment Application
Under supervision of the program coordinator, counselors will provide a safe, stimulating environment with camp activities for children exiting K-5th grades.
Ideal applicants will have good communication skills, high energy and be team players. Prior experience working with elementary-age children or an elementary teaching background is preferred but not required.
