What a blessing it is to share God’s story, God’s word, and God’s love. We believe this responsibility starts within our families and we want to come alongside parents and children to equip and disciple the entire family.
Early Childhood Sunday School (first floor children’s area)
All children are loved and welcome at McFarlin!
McFarlin’s Early Childhood Sunday School includes all children from infancy to Pre-K. Our first-floor children’s area includes interactive age-appropriate classrooms and an indoor play area in addition to our outdoor playgrounds. Our trained nursery staff and volunteers lead children in energetic, hands-on Sunday School Bible lessons, games, and crafts each Sunday morning from 9:40-10:40AM.
Care is offered through Kindergarten during the 8:30am worship service. During the 11am service, Kindergarteners attend Children’s Worship on the 3rd Floor. All children from infancy through kindergarten are welcome to attend the nursery during worship services. During this time our loving staff engage children in play and worship activities that relate to the Sunday School Bible lesson. We can’t wait to share God’s love with your child! Please contact Katie Lanier to schedule a tour of our facilities and meet our devoted Children and Family Ministries staff.
Elementary Sunday School for Kindergarten-5th Grade (Third Floor Children’s Area)
Our mission is to come alongside of parents as the primary spiritual influencers of their children, helping them know Jesus, love others and live transformed. We gather each Sunday morning from 9:40 – 10:40AM for a time of Christ-centered Bible lessons, games, crafts/service activities and friendship building.
Classes are grouped by grade and are led by loving volunteers who are eager to engage and grow with the kids each week.
Please contact Zach James to schedule a tour of the Children’s Area or to volunteer your gifts in the Children’s Ministry.
Children’s Worship
Kindergarten – 5th grade are invited to leave the 11am worship services after Children’s Moment for Children’s Worship. Children will be escorted from the worship services to the 3rd floor Children’s area for fellowship with their friends. During this time, the children will have the opportunity to join an energetic and kid-friendly time of praise and worship.
Acolytes
All 4th and 5th graders are invited to serve as Acolytes for the 8:30 and 11am Sanctuary worship services. Acolytes assist in worship by carrying the Light of Christ as each service begins. They also assist the ministers during baptisms. At the end of each worship service, Acolytes extinguish the candles and carry the Light back up the aisle and out of the sanctuary symbolizing the Light of Christ leading worshippers out into the world to share the Light. All 4th and 5th graders will receive an invitation to serve as they head into the new school year.

Youth
Welcome to the McFarlin Student Ministries! In our youth program (grades 6-12) we aim to show students how much Jesus loves them and how to walk alongside Christ and each other in their lives! Through missions, small groups, and fellowship we dive deeper into the Christian life and loving all of God’s children.
Worship! Vital to all followers of Christ, McFarlin offers two styles of worship through its Sanctuary and Modern worship services. More details about worship HERE.
Awakening is the name of our Sunday morning gathering from 9:40-10:40AM. Each week is a little different in the way we share the Gospel, but the Bible is always the basis for what we do! We meet on the 3rd floor in the youth rooms (321-324.)
