During this gathering, we will honor those UWF members who have passed in 2024 by having a memorial service, along with our program of “Bold Women Transforming Communities”.
The Call to Prayer and Self-Denial program began more than 125 years ago as a way for United Women in Faith to study, pray, and then give sacrificially to better the lives of others. Our gifts will go around the world to support bold women, uplifting and empowering one another. On April 22, we will especially celebrate and learn from the growing faith and work of our Peruvian sisters, who face many challenges in their daily lives. We will hear examples of projects funded, designed, and led by the women of Peru. “Even though these projects are small, they have a big impact. They feed families, send kids to school, and empower women to become leaders. Don’t underestimate what they can do!”

Formerly known as United Methodist Women, this group is a supportive, inclusive Christian membership organization where women like you grow spiritually, develop as leaders and serve and work to create a world in which all women, children and youth thrive. United Women in Faith is celebrated as the women’s ministry of The United Methodist Church.
Our members nurture one another in the community and support U.S. and international projects and partners,
improving the lives of women, children and youth with their prayers, volunteer and advocacy efforts, and financial gifts.
Any woman who commits herself to the PURPOSE of United Women in Faith and to engage in mission, study, personal growth and social action can join. You don’t have to be a United Methodist member or meet an age requirement to join the United Women in Faith group.
United Women in Faith is open to ALL women. Our purpose is to know God, to develop supportive fellowship by encouraging one another in spiritual growth and personal development, and to serve others through local and global ministries.
