Join us for this engaging and informative presentation about the foundational understanding of human trafficking in Oklahoma, breaking down misconceptions and highlighting the realities of how it affects our communities. Attendees will hear from guest speakers Halle Carr and Kaylee Bishop from The Dragonfly Home and learn how traffickers operate, who is most vulnerable, and the impact of trafficking on individuals and society.
The presentation also explores The Dragonfly Home’s mission and services, showcasing the critical work being done to support survivors and combat trafficking. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of human trafficking and practical ways to make a difference.
Formerly known as United Methodist Women, this group is a supportive, inclusive Christian membership organization where women like you grow spiritually, develop as leaders and serve and work to create a world in which all women, children and youth thrive. United Women in Faith is celebrated as the women’s ministry of The United Methodist Church.
Our members nurture one another in the community and support U.S. and international projects and partners,
improving the lives of women, children and youth with their prayers, volunteer and advocacy efforts, and financial gifts.
Any woman who commits herself to the PURPOSE of United Women in Faith and to engage in mission, study, personal growth and social action can join. You don’t have to be a United Methodist member or meet an age requirement to join the United Women in Faith group.
United Women in Faith is open to ALL women. Our purpose is to know God, to develop supportive fellowship by encouraging one another in spiritual growth and personal development, and to serve others through local and global ministries.
