Join our United Women of Faith as we explore the crucial topics of social justice, climate change, and the church’s responsibility in caring for our creation. Our guest speaker, Dr. Mark Davies, will provide valuable perspectives on these issues. Dr. Davies is the Wimberly Professor of Social and Ecological Ethics and Director of the World House Institute for Social and Ecological Responsibility at Oklahoma City University. With a distinguished career, he has served as dean of the Petree College of Arts and Sciences and the Wimberly School of Religion at Oklahoma City University.
Dr. Davies has been deeply involved in the academic and practical aspects of “Climate & Theology,” making him a leading voice in this field. His work helps us understand how to better care for the world God has entrusted to us. Be part of meaningful discussions and learn practical ways to contribute to a sustainable future. We look forward to your participation!
Formerly known as United Methodist Women, this group is a supportive, inclusive Christian membership organization where women like you grow spiritually, develop as leaders and serve and work to create a world in which all women, children and youth thrive. United Women in Faith is celebrated as the women’s ministry of The United Methodist Church.
Our members nurture one another in the community and support U.S. and international projects and partners,
improving the lives of women, children and youth with their prayers, volunteer and advocacy efforts, and financial gifts.
Any woman who commits herself to the PURPOSE of United Women in Faith and to engage in mission, study, personal growth and social action can join. You don’t have to be a United Methodist member or meet an age requirement to join the United Women in Faith group.
United Women in Faith is open to ALL women. Our purpose is to know God, to develop supportive fellowship by encouraging one another in spiritual growth and personal development, and to serve others through local and global ministries.
